Appropriate Dispute Resolution Process
The Board has fully trained and neutral Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) professionals that are available to work with landowners to provide negotiation, facilitation, mediation and referral options to help resolve disagreements with NEB regulated companies.
Surface Rights Board – The Board assists in resolving disputes between landowners and companies that require access to private land to explore for, develop, or produce Crown-owned subsurface resources such as oil, gas, coal, minerals and geothermal.
